Restaurants:
Honestly, I wish that I could review a specific cook or a specific waiter, because usually it is the fault of one, the other, or both, that makes my stay at a restaurant uncomfortable.
I could wait an hour for food, or have to ask for my check 4 times. Get a salmon that isn't cooked at all in the center. (Got food poisoning off of that one.) But not every single cook, nor every single waiter, has fault in the actions.
I went to Outback steak house in Christiansburg, Virginia on 8/30/2012, The waiter was very friendly. My eating partner's plate was amazing, the food tasted wonderful, my plate however, my steak and asparagus was very much over spiced. Now, the waiter offered to get me a brand new steak, as mine was too spicy to bear.
Now do I give the whole restaurant a bad review because of one mistake a cook made, or a good review because the waiter was willing to go above and beyond what most would do.
Now, I have gone to this Outback many times without any issues with food or service. That is honestly what I have to look at. What is the history of this restaurants service with me. What are my experiences.
Overall this Outback has AMAZING service, and AMAZING food. If you have a problem with something, Let them know, they will usually take care of you very well. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a great steak.

Late Friday Post - Weekly Topic - Dreams
~Dreams~
Dreams are a part of our life that takes all the control that we cannot. Meaning, you are in for one hell of a ride!
In dreams we are surrounded by monsters, magic, science fiction, and impossibilities galore.
I still remember a dream when I was very little. I was waiting at school and my aunt drove to pick me up from school. I was 5 and my aunt was 7.
She drove me to a metal box. One of the storage boxes with the swinging front doors and like a trailer box. On the far-long side of the box were ports into another world. My grandma was fighting them off with sticks. My Aunt picked up some longer sticks to help my grandma fight the monsters.
I was told to help but I was too afraid of the monsters. I turned around to the other side of the box and found a slide going down. At the bottom of the slide I found a candy store. There was a door behind the counter but no one else was there. A moment later Martha (Hippo) came out of the door and saw me.
She sighed, shaking her head, telling me that I should not be there and came to me from around the counter. She led me to some stairs behind me (Slide was gone now). At the top of the stairs I was back in the trailer box with my grandma and aunt.
Impossibilities:
~My 7 year old Aunt could drive.
~Another world was coming into my world, through
~My Aunt and Grandma were monster hunters.
~There was a slide going down to another world
~The world was run by George and Martha.
~hippos can talk
~Slides turn into stairs
~Worlds vanish and reappear.
This is one of the craziest dreams I ever remember having.
Other crazy dreams can include places that you have been too, such as a department store. Places you have never been, such as a futuristic castle. Or places that could never exist. In my experience, it is rare to know that you are sleeping even when the dream is very bazaar.
I feel that your dreams are just dreams. They are not teaching you how to survive any scenario, they are not our subconsience reveling its deepest/secret desires, they do not show us our future. They are just some damn good entertainment to keep your attention while you are sleeping, so you don't get too bored and wake up ;).

Advice Post #1 - Books and Study Time
So, School starts on Monday and yesterday was day number one
of financial aid book charges. The school was only letting in about 15 people
at a time (it didn't matter if some of those people were just accompanying
others that were buying books. They even counted the children.) So it took me
an hour and 20 minutes to get into the book store. After I was in it was only a
few minutes before I had all my books in my basket and was waiting in line. The
woman in front of me was bragging about how she would buy the clothes, flash
drives, and pens in her basket with financial aid.
I wasn't in the best of moods at this point. It was already
past 12:30pm, I hadn't eaten at all yet, and my books were so heavy that they
popped my shoulder out.
Now, I know the rules of financial aid. You can get books, 1
book bag under a certain amount, about 3 pens, and software. Instead of letting
the woman know, I let her get all the way to the front of the line just to have
them tell her that she had to put 90% of her basket back on the shelf unless
she could pay out-of-pocket for the items. She was really upset. Later after I
ate, I felt terrible. I am usually a very kind person and I help people out
when I can.
So, that was just a prelude into the advice that I meant to
give. Every year I buy a bunch of those plastic tabs, the ones that you stick
on a page to mark something. When I buy my books I place those tabs at the
beginning of every chapter. Chapters usually get one color, and then table of
contence, indexes, and the glossery get another color. I do this because while
I am in class--or when I am studying--it helps me find the page I am looking
for faster. It also helps let you know the distance you have to read just by
looking at the tabs.
I tried going a semester without tabs in any of my books and
it made my study time a lot longer.
Basically what I am saying is: Find a way that you can make
your study time shorter, so that you have more time to breath in between
courses, because everyone needs some down time. If you just work non-stop then
you will have some serious problems. You are going to crash and that will
affect your grades and work-ability.
Some schools have already started, but some have yet to
start. Good luck everyone!!!!!
Also, if you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will
answer to the best of my ability. If I don't have an answer I will either try
to find it or direct you to someone that knows.
Thankyou.

Quick Update
The whole point of this update was to let everyone know that I am going to try to be making daily blog updates (from my track record I might not make it very long but I really want to.) The tentative schedule for the blog is as follows:
Monday: Comic. (I am working on a comic--with terrible art, sorry-- it's going to be called "Confessions of a Lipstick Lesbian" and it will be stories about real events in my life. hopefully I can get one page up a week.)
Tuesday: School/Study/Focus/Organization/Relaxation/etc. Advice! (This can also be a QA day if anyone wants to ask questions. I might also do How-to videos in place of this day. Let me know what you want to see.)
Wednesday: Rant or Random topic day. (I will either unload or pick a random topic to write about. You might also catch a snippet of something I am working on--story or art.)
Thursday: Recipe day. (I will post recipe's that I create, find, or have loved my whole life.)
Friday: View on weekly topic. (Every week I will take either a suggested topic, or something that has meaning to me that week and talk about it)
Saturday: Product or place review
Sunday: Vlog update and a post that summarises the entire week.
Monthly:
~ Book, movie, or game review.
~ an update on what is going on in my life.
These posts will also be posted on my Live Journal account "UsakoDesu".
I give you all permission to bug me if I do not update my blog. If for some reason I cannot do a full post that day, I will try to log on and give a short explanation and then I will try to make it up during the following week.
School is starting soon, so I might get busy, but I will still try to stay up to date on the blog. If I have to make any changes to my updating schedule, I will give you all an update. Posts will initially be posted on Blogger, and then here.

Crescent Sammiches
Ingredients:
Deli Meat (Approximately 16 slices, two per roll.)
Cheese of choice
Refrigerated Crescent rolls
(I used 3 different sweet hams: Maple Ham, Brown Sugar Ham, and Honey Ham. I also like turkey. And I used presliced Smoked Gouda Cheese.)
Directions:
Unwrap and open the Refrigerated Crescent rolls. Unroll them and lay them out on a clean counter or dish.
Grab your cheese and put enough of a thin slice to cover about 1 square inch of the roll. (I used about 1/4 oz.).
Top your cheese with approximately two slices of your desired Deli Meat folded or "crumpled".
Take the tip of the triangle and fold over the meat and cheese. Any excess roll on the sides, pull up to cover the meat and cheese as much as possible.
Put the uncooked Crescent Sammiches on a baking pan or dish and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 11-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
Let the rolls cool on the baking pan/dish for about 5 minutes or until cooled to slightly warm.
Enjoy!
Tips:
* If your package of Refrigerated Crescent rolls does not "pop" open after unwrapping it, either press a spoon against the seems or give the package a hard "Smack" against the counter. It should pop open a little and you can unroll the package the rest of the way.
*Serve with a simple salad or corn on the cob as your vegetable.
